My Beginning
Hello, Welcome to my blog. As a child I enjoyed drawing, but did not get As in class. I was discouraged by that, but I occasionally drew things and every so often did self portraits. Years later, when watching the movie Devil Wears Prada, I discovered my passion for Fashion Design and six months later signed up to study it at the Art Institute. My program included Fashion Illustrations and Textile Design. That's when I realized I really loved drawing. With a full-time job I could not practice Fashion Design on the side, but I could draw in Adobe Illustrator. So for the last 4 years I tried to draw 15 - 20 minutes before work every day. I signed up for Vida first, but realized they own the copyright of any designs uploaded as long as they are uploaded. I recently registered for Spoonflower and uploaded my first designs and entered several Design Challenges.
